I found out about Edward Perry and Los Angelitos Orphanage because the company I work for, Smith Communication Partners, has helped them over the years. The story of Edward’s compassion and work for the children he met in Tijuana has left an indelible impression on my soul.
Edward and Norma Angelica had been serving the Lord by helping a number of orphanages in Tijuana, when the concept of Los Angelitos was born. They dreamed of setting up a permanent home for children, one where they could be loved and grow in the body, mind and in the Lord.
The dream became a necessity, when they heard about five very young sisters living in a shack, completely abandoned and desperately needy. Right away, Edward went back to his home in Los Angeles, gathered all he had and moved to Tijuana to care for these children and organize the orphanage. No looking back.
Los Angelitos is an act of love and of faithfulness.
